It's been cold this week, single digits yesterday. A sugar dusting of new snow, take a big breath outside and the cold air feels like peppermint. It was the perfect weather for listening to The Nutcracker Suite and decorating for Christmas. We'll get a tree this weekend, but there was plenty of greenery to deck just about everything, new ornaments to make, and many other old treasures to see again.

The little mug was a gift to Gil's grandfather when he was a baby.

Frosty-sparkly

Vintage shaving mug and figurines~ I think Gretel has a favorite. :)

Several years ago, I made a whole platoon of these little soldiers out of clothespins.

Can one have too many Christmas trees in the kitchen? I don't think so! :)

Cat, Sam and I made the beaded candy canes.

This was from Target~ so cool!

Elves with candy canes. Do you like the little guy hanging from the bow? He and many others are available in my new Etsy shop! :)

Sugarplum wishes, candy cane kisses, sweetness and love to you and yours this season~

So festive! We'll be decorating the tree today.. and it has just started snowing here in MD as I type this! Couldn't resist a visit to your new shop while having my coffee this a.m. Such a sweet selection. One of my favorites of your works has always been Fiddler's Field.

Snow dusted blessings!
