Happy Monday! :)
It's been unusually warm here for the past few weeks. I'm not quite ready for spring, but it's hard to complain about nice weather! It's been incredibly windy, too.

Big, blustery winds that SWOOOSH through the pines and send tumbleweeds rolling down the street. Winds that make you feel a little crazy~ Gretel runs mad laps around the back yard in it. It sets your nerves on edge and when it blows in your face, you can't see straight. Bah! On a calmer day, Gil and I went for a walk. Everything is so brown, but there's still so much to see.

This time of year, you can hardly look all around the sky without seeing a flock of canada geese. I understand that they can be pesky, but that's not their fault! It's so exciting to see a hundred or so birds all take off at the same time. I love their honks and their black and white markings look so smart. :) I made this last week~

MOTHER GOOSE
4x6 inches
Finely dressed in a lace fichu and straw poke bonnet (the cameo had belonged to her grandmother), she takes the little ones for a morning walk.

*sigh* Maybe I AM ready for spring, after all. Have a lovely week, everyone! XO
